This week, Shoulder to the Wheel pledger Fred Voros shared an original hymn he wrote in honor of the end of the priesthood and temple ban: “I believe Mormons should celebrate June 8 with as much enthusiasm as we do July 24. To that end, I imagine a new day of celebration called Jubilee.”  The lyrics are worth reading and considering.  Brother Voros notes that the tune is a bit “mournful” but if he knew that there would be celebrations June 8 he would “set it to a more jubilant tune.”

Please share this with your family, friends, and networks, and encourage them to pledge to take action and reflection at (Scroll down for a downloadable PDF.)  If you do plan to sing “Jubilee” this year, write and we’ll pass word to Brother Voros!
